New patented Clew block for furling mainsails
Seldén introduces a new series of innovative clew blocks designed specifically for furling mainsails. These compact yet robust blocks feature stainless-steel bodies combined with either a machined, anodized aluminium sheave or a stainless-steel low friction insert.
A standout feature is the removable sheave or low friction insert, allowing for quick and easy outhaul line installation — without the need to unfasten either end of the line. This simplifies the process of mounting and removing the sail from the boom.
Made of stainless-steel, the body of the block allows for tight attachment points between the webbing bands. Being placed closely together, wrinkles between the webbings are prevented.
The clew-blocks will be available in four sizes for max workload from 1 ton - 4 tons.
