Seldén launches Furlex 104TD – a through-deck jib furling system for keelboats and small yachts
Seldén is expanding its Furlex range with the launch of the new Furlex 104TD, a high-end furling system featuring precision-machined components in hard-anodised aluminium components. Designed for sailboats up to approximately 30 ft, the 104TD extends Seldén’s existing range of larger through-deck furling systems, the Furlex 204TD-404TD.
The Furlex 104TD has been developed to meet demand from builder of high-end keelboats and smaller yachts with forestay measuring ø5 or ø6 mm. Its free-turn tack attachment helps improve sail shape when reefing a jib or genoa, while roller bearings at deck level and in the furling drum reduce furling resistance. An optional 60 mm forestay length adjustment is also available.
The recommended retail price starts at €2170, excl VAT. Deliveries are schedules to commence February 2027.
Furlex 104TD will be on display in Seldén’s stand #01-775, at METS Trade in Amsterdam Nov 17-19.
