MANUAL RATCHET BLOCKS
Seldén's latest series of ratchet blocks features a more efficient grip between the sheave and the line, as well as a more ergonomic swivel control. These blocks are used for dynamic applications such as sheets on dinghies and keelboats, and when the locking function is activated, the sheave remains stationary if you ease the load on the sheet slightly. This allows you to hold the sheet in your hand for an extended period and trim dynamically without needing to lock the sheet in a cam cleat. The blocks have Delrin bearings and are available with either a composite or aluminum sheave. The aluminum sheave provides a good grip even when used with a relatively thin line.
